Heatlink Offers UpGraded Radiant Heat Line
by A. John Borden
When Yaun Company took on HeatLink in 1996 we’d been searching for the best source of radiant floor products for several years. We had started selling radiant floor systems in the mid 1980s and were convinced floor heat was going to become a huge business. We wanted to offer our customers the best possible package but there were problems. We were frustrated by manufacture shortcomings. So we went on a hunt, and we finally found what we’d been looking for …..we found HeatLink.
HeatLink was a company committed to giving contractors what they needed: top quality installation seminars, accurate system designs and quotes, the right products ready to ship, and excellent sales literature. HeatLink guys were dedicated. Ten years of growth have passed …HeatLink guys are still dedicated!
New products for 2007
HeatLink is a prime manufacturer of Pex tubing. Pex “a” is now available thru Yaun at very competitive pricing.
Stainless steel manifolds are now available along with our standard module manifold systems.
Five new HeatLink thermostats are now here: from a very competitive mechanical radiant thermostat, to a heat/air conditioning radiant thermostat, along with digital and electronic thermostats... anything you could ask for. all take standard thermostat wire. No special tool needed.
New zone valve actuators come with led indicator lights that show at a glance if the power is on.
A new mixing block with pump and pressure bypass ( 4 way valve) built in. a great time saver for indoor outdoor control when standard boilers are used on radiant systems.
New Statlink modules with led lights, more actuator capacities, and all take standard thermostat wire.
Recessed manifold housings for neatly concealing supply/return module groups on interior walls in living areas when needed.
We didn’t ask HeatLink for these new, improved products. We’re very proud of what we‘ve been selling. But HeatLink doesn’t sit still, they’ve always improving on their already great systems: staying out front is what they’re about. Yes, we certainly found what we were searching for in a radiant floor system company.
p.s. Ed Van Putten, the man who was instrumental in developing the HeatLink system has rejoined the company. We feel he’s one of the finest radiant instructors in the country and we hope he’ll be speaking at some of our future HeatLink seminars. We strongly recommend your attending any seminar he gives. www.heatlinkgroup.com
