NEW Rheem RXGY-G02 HORZ VENT KIT

Rheem/Ruud service schools have always stressed how critical the venting of the 90+ condensing furnaces. The instructions for horizontal venting shows the pipe sticking straight out from the building 12” with the intake air tube over 3” and down 4” to prevent moist exhaust air from condensing and creating a snow ball on the intake tube. This has been a time-proven trouble-free method of venting but on some jobs looked a little less attractive with the pipe sticking straight out. We now have in stock a nice looking oval shaped plastic wall cap which only sticks out about 2.5” off the wall. The reduction of the vent pipe inside the building is still required to speed up the exhaust air to get the moisture far away from the building. We can fax you a copy of the installation sheet so you can see what this new item can do for you on future jobs. To order this new vent kit ask for RURXGYG02
