Malco has introduced a new fast, easy, work saving tool to connect pex tubing to wire mesh. The new PT1 Pex to Wire Tool uses a simple metal 12 gauge galvanized coated clip which crimps around both the wire mesh and the pex tubing and will not damage the tubing. This ring is closed to a 15/16” inside which allows the gap between the metal and the pex tubing to fit the manufacturer's requirements.

The PT1 tool holds 25 clips which feed automatically with the opening and closing of the tool. The TP1 is easy to reload: simply rotate the clip tube a quarter turn and pull back on the tension spring, slide in the clips, rotate the clip tube back to its closed position and release the tension spring and your back to work.

This is a one hand tool which allows you to reach down, position the pex over the wire mesh, then simply position the tool and squeeze the handles closed till they stop, then open your hand and the tool releases and automaticly advances another clip.
