Yaun Company is excited about the recent addition of Arlington
Industries, Inc. to our electrical product line. An innovative
company with "state-of-the-art" products. Arlington
has worked hard getting their name out to the industry by advertising
their line in electrical trade magazines and publications. This
is a manufacturer that many of our customers requested we stock.
We listened and have brought in items specifically mentioned by
contractors and other items promoted by Arlington. We hope to
grow the line with feedback from our customer base.
The most requested item was the plastic push-in connector for
Romex/NM cable. Arlington's "black button" installs
easily, snapping into KO's with light finger pressure - no locknut
needed. These install so easily and quickly that labor costs can
be lowered when using these connectors - an important feature
for any product. Listed for both 1 and 2 cables, Romex can be
inserted smoothly without wrestling and holds securely (meets
and exceeds UL pullout tests). Yaun Company is stocking the NM94
(3/8") and NM85 (3/4") connectors.
The BEI box extender is another item that was requested by our contractors. This extender levels and supports wiring devices where the box is set back in from the wall surface. The box can be extended up to 1-1/2" with these. We brought in the BEI (1 gang) and BE2 (double gang) models.
Arlington has a line of fittings call "Snap-Tite" that have patents issued from the U.S. government. These fittings are revolutionizing the industry. They have a notched spring steel clip in place of locknuts, facilitating quicker cable and conduit installations. The steel clip snaps into the electrical box, holding wire or conduit with grounding tongs that grip its unpainted interior forming an excellent ground path. In two seconds the installation is accomplished, again saving labor time. We are stocking the 38AST (3/8" Bx/Mc), the SG38AST (3/8" Bx/Mc saddle grip) and the SG50AST (1/2" Bx/Mc saddle grip) models.
Another popular request was for the CP3540 box cover, used
to cover boxes, which are added for future use with lighting fixtures
or ceiling fans. For installation on 3-1/2" and 4" round
and octagonal boxes, this cover is non metallic, non-conductive
and paintable. It will not rust or discolor. A feature of this
box cover is that it covers poorly cut drywall and leaves no visible
screws when installed. The deep dish cover/plate design covers
most fan boxes and electrical boxes. The mounting bracket is designed
to accommodate both #8 and #10 screws.
Yaun Company will also stock the 8081F and 8091F siding box kits.
These items brought in are just a few of the innovative products
manufactured by Arlington Industries. Please contact your salesman
or the electric department personnel if you want us to stock or
special order other Arlington products.
