John Wood® Water Heaters Accessories

A recent technical bulletin from John Wood announced the availability of a Blocked Vent Switch that can be used with their oil fired water heaters. The device senses a rise in flue gases and will shut down power to the water heater. This safety device is easy to install by a qualified professional. It does require manual resetting after the trouble has been identified and corrected. As noted this device is available through John Wood or through our HVAC department.
