New MARKEL Residential Fan Forced Wall Heater

MARKEL Products has announced a change in their residential fan forced built-in wall heater line. The 3200 series heaters are replacing the 303 models that were previously stocked by Yaun Co. The 3200 heaters install with just 2 wires only where the 303 heaters, being a selectable wattage unit, were harder to install. The new 3200 heaters come in white and are approved for horizontal (right or left air discharge) as well as vertical installations.

Rough-in dimensions are the same as the 303 models – 9 ¼ “wide by 12 1/8” high by 3 5/8” deep (back boxes are included with the heater). Yaun Co. will be stocking these heaters with no built-in thermostat, giving our customers the option of using a wall thermostat or field-installing one on the heater. The 3200 series heaters will be stocked in 120v and 240/208v models.

The 120v heater will be a 1500 watt unit and the 240v units will be 750, 1000, 2000 and 2250 watts. Field-installed thermostats will be single pole for 120v units and double pole for 240v job. Both thermostats provide “positive off” control. Try the new Markel Products 3200 series heaters for easier wiring installation. The guesswork of selecting wattages has been taken out of the job.
