There are advantages to each of these different systems. In our latitude we are not able to recoup 100 percent of our fuel expenses for domestic water heating but the savings does approach 70 percent. Fuel savings such as that are certainly worth investigating.
Rheem Manufacturing in 2002 purchased an Australian Company named Solahart that is one of the world’s largest providers of domestic solar heating equipment. It has taken considerable time and effort to bring some of their equipment to the U.S market and receive the necessary approvals. It is important to note that the Solaraide™ System offered by Rheem is OG-300 certified by the Solar Rating and Certifications Corporation (SRCC). Following quick trips to Alabama and Florida, and having received a personalized training program from Jeff Mahoney at Rheem, we are now training our sales team so that we can confidently offer Rheem’s solar heating system as another alternative.
All of our sales representatives have attended the Viessmann Solar training in Rhode Island within the past six months.
On May 29th Yaun Company will be holding a Viessmann Solar training Class from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Liberty.
