We know it is very frustrating to discover a ding or a dent, when you slide the box off a furnace, boiler or any other product. Many times the contractor can install the product and it is not an issue. Other times the homeowner will not accept and wants a new unit and we ship out a replacement unit. We ask that you and your employees handle the damaged unit like it was not damaged and repack the product to avoid any further damage and we can pick it up. If you are bringing it back your self please don’t just set in on the pile of material on the back of your truck, it must set flat to avoid causing more damage. Unlike the large box stores, we can’t just send damaged products back to the manufacture. We must sell this dinged or dented furnace at a reduced price. We list damaged items at a reduced price for those jobs where your customer wants the lowest price and doesn’t care about a ding or a dent . These units are great for rental properties. |
