Peerless Boilers recently made changes to several series of boilers. Following is a recap of the changes. Pinnacle Rev 2 (gas) replaces Rev 1. Major Rev 2 changes include a P825 control board with outdoor reset, DHW priority & WWSD; Dungs Gas Valves on all models; terminal strips for ease of wiring; new on/off service switch; convenience outlet (5 amp max) for condensate pump; adjustable leveling legs (except PI-T50 & PI-T80); new jacket door latches & gasket (except PI-T50 & PI-T80); new burner, burner plate and premix channel (except PI-T50 & PI-T80); and welded square manifolds (except PI-T50 & PI-T80).
Series DE is approved for sidewall venting with a verticaloff-set termination for applications where the termination would otherwise be too close to grade or snow line.

Off-Set.Series WV-DV, WBV/WV & EC Packaged Water Boilers are now being furnished with Honeywell Electronic Aquastats. "WPC" boilers will use the L7248C and "WPCT" boilers will use the L7224C. During the transition period you could receive shipments of boilers with old style (L8148/L8124) or new style (L7248/L7224) controls. Series ECT Packaged Steam Boilers will no longer have the 1-1/2" skim plug installed. The square head skim plug will be shipped in the boiler folder. Series ECT & SCT KD Boiler steam and water trim cartons will now include a 1-1/2" square head skim plug. Cartons with skim plugs will have a red mark on the carton label. Inventory should be rotated to insure old cartons are shipped first. Effective May 2008 ECT & SCT KD blocks will no longer have the skim plug installed. |
