T-12 ELECTRONIC BALLASTS FROM ADVANCE

Back in April 2005, the Department of Energy (DOE) ruled that the sale (to OEM fixture manufacturers) of many types of fluorescent magnetic ballasts that operate T-12 lamps was to be prevented. The goal of this ruling was to make fluorescent fixtures more energy-efficient by utilizing electronic ballasts. ADVANCE TRANSFORMER offers a full line of electronic options that EXCEED the DOE energy performance requirements for T-12 ballasts. The T-12 Standard ballasts cover a wide range of fixture applications and operate T-12 fluorescent lamps more efficiently than magnetics – up to 16% more. They also operate both energy-saving and standard lamps regardless of the application need (T-12 4ft., slimline or high output). The most important feature of these T-12 electronic ballasts is that they were designed to replace magnetic ballasts using the same MOUNTING and WIRING configurations (with the exception of the 2-lamp 8ft. model) and are lighter in weight, making the conversion quick and simple.
