Now that the summer heat has passed us and the leaves are changing colors, the cooler temperatures of autumn remind us that this is the time of year to promote automatic standby generators to your customers – BEFORE winter’s harsh conditions knock out their electrical power! The RHEEM Seregen home generator systems offer fully automatic standby power, both efficiently and affordably.

The Seregen series is a complete line of standby generators, with units for small jobs (10kw) and big (45kw) in either LP or natural gas fuels. The advanced electronics in the accompanying transfer switches sense utility power outages and automatically start the generator and turn it off once power is restored.

RHEEM’s Power Management Control upgrade allows the 12 and 15kw units to manage the same essential and high wattage appliances as a larger generator for up to ½ the cost. This control system turns off predetermined loads, freeing up power to start essential (heat, A/C, pumps, etc.) equipment, and then bring them back on line once essential equipment is running. For example, a 15kw Seregen unit provides the power of other manufacturers’ 25kw models – the same power for less money.
