Solar Tax Credits

For the 100+ contractors that attended our solar training sessions this summer, good news! As you are aware, the tax credits for residential solar thermal heating systems was set to expire at the end of 2008. However, I am told that one bright spot in the ugly $800 billion dollar give away by the Federal government is that the energy tax credits were renewed. These income tax credits along with NYS property tax exemptions should greatly help this “budding” industry reach great heights.
