Opportunity for Plumbers in Central Hudson Terr.

The end of Central Hudson's Water Heater Lease Program could be an opportunity for you to begin maintaining water heaters. Central Hudson is phasing out this program at the order of the New York State Public Service Commission, and this means that approximately 4,000 customers have just taken ownership of their Marathon water heater or have lease agreements that are about to expire within the next two years. In either case, Central Hudson will no longer be liable for or permitted to provide warranty service or maintenance for those customers. Central Hudson has explained to customers that they can call a local plumbing contractor to arrange service or order parts online.

Yaun Company is currently a Rheem Water Heater Distributor and Rheem makes Marathon

Water Heaters. Yaun Co. will be making an effort to stock replacement Marathon water heaters and repair parts. If you have any questions about the phase out of Central Hudson's Water Heater Lease Program, please contact Kevin Davie or Tom Zweck at (845) 256-6400. As Central Hudson exits the water heater business, many units will need service and maintenance.
